The Activities Coordinator/Leader position plans, coordinates and implements activities and events for residents. Assists with implementation of daily activity programs as needed. Works closely with Life Enrichment Director, Coordinators, Volunteers and staff in providing programming to stimulate and support the social, physical and emotional functioning of the residents. Provides transportation for frail elderly residents in the community van or bus to medical appointments and other outings.
Assesses, plans and implements the nursing care of residents within the skilled nursing setting with the supervision of a Registered Nurse. Responsible for ensuring continuity of care of the residents by providing direct care as well as supervising the care given by CNAs and supportive staff members. Participates in resident and family teaching. Maintains role as resident advocate with a focus on organization mission and values.
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for repair services, preventative maintenance on general equipment, functionality of residents’ apartments, and services for all building systems. Works under general supervision, demonstrating basic skills and performing a wide variety of maintenance and mechanical work including carpentry, electrical, plumbing, painting, housekeeping, masonry, drywall, appliance, and equipment repair.
Prepares, seasons, and cooks all menu items for residents, employees and special events. Follows menus and standards in preparing food on a timely basis, in sufficient quality and quantity, incorporating all food service requirements, service schedule, and sanitation standards. Prepares both regular and therapeutic diet menu items. Understands all food service requirements. Detects and corrects situations before a complaint is received.
The Central Supply Coordinator is responsible for inventory, distribution, purchasing, and charging of medical supplies and medical record forms in the Care Center. Assists with receptionist duties, medical records duties, audits, and the admission and discharge of residents as assigned. Responsible for maintenance of the office areas in the Care Center.
